Unless you want to... We’ll mix your own pieces with thrifted and upcycled finds, plus a few splurges, to create the look you want with the "feels" you are after.

About us
I’ve always loved interiors. Growing up in rental houses, we had to get creative—mixing fabric remnants, mistinted paint, and wallpaper scraps to make spaces feel like home. My family was the original Hi/Low designers, hunting for bargains and turning them into something beautiful.
That passion never left me. I’ve spent countless hours sourcing fabric, buying swatches, scouring Amazon and Marketplace, finding dupes, and combing through thrift stores for unique pieces—often just for imaginary projects!
I started Family Tree Planning & Design to bring that same creativity and resourcefulness to busy families who want homes that feel personal and functional but are running the roads with hockey or volleyball or drama or dance. You don't have the time to make a vision board! You have to save the big bucks for your kids. For ortho, for their activites, for a holiday. I get it! Let me help you.
